MISS ARIZONA 2019
Jacqueline Thomas is a 24-year-old Honors graduate from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management. Her aspirations include earning a Juris Doctorate/MBA from Georgetown Law. Jacqueline’s social impact initiative is Lady Leaders: Encouraging, Elevating and Empowering the Next Generation through which she has partnered with the non-profit Arizona Foundation for Women (AFW), helping them raise over a quarter of a million dollars to advocate for SHE - Safety, Health, and Economic Independence for women in the state of Arizona. She also hosted the first Lady Leaders: Young Women’s Leadership Panel — the kick off to AFW’s millennial initiative. Also an accomplished pianist, Jacqueline has been studying music for 17 years.

Katelyn Cai is a 15-year-old Sophomore at BASIS Scottsdale, where she maintains a weighted 4.8 GPA and is a member of the competitive Speech and Debate Team. An accomplished dancer, Katelyn earned a Scholastic Achievement Award and a preliminary On-stage Question + Evening Wear Award at the national competition, where she finished 1st runner-up to Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2020. Her social impact initiative is She Dared: Promoting Gender Equality and Women’s Rights.
