Each year, Miss Arizona contestants volunteer roughly 5,000 hours of personal platform community service and raise more than $25,000 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Miss America's national charity partner. In addition to collective participation with Phoenix Children's Hospital, HopeKids and Winged Hope Family Advocacy Foundation, each Miss Arizona local pageant participant works on behalf of a personally selected community service platform. The winners of Miss Arizona and Miss Arizona's Outstanding Teen travel to every corner of the state, reaching thousands of Arizonans on behalf of their respective causes.
